Meditation Could Change The Brain Connectivity
A few weeks ago, NPR has an interview on mindfulness meditation with a Psychologist from Weill Cornell Medical College. The research finding was published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Science. The researchers concluded that “Students who practice meditation for just 11 hours over a period of a few weeks had changes in brain connectivity that could be seen on a brain scan.” This is quite interesting. For your convenience, I have attached the interview transcript. If you would like to listen to the interview, you can visit the NPR link below.
Last night, I returned from San Diego, CA. While in San Diego, I visited a Zen monastery on the mountain and was caught “playing around” with the Large Community Bell of the monastery. See photo below J. This weekend, I will be flying to Northern California to visit a monastery on Mount Madonna. Wish everyone a mindful weekend and stay out of troubles J
