RE: [DVRPTR_V1] Which FW with which driver ?
- The old (1.10e and 1.11a) firmware is stable enough for most users, and is"recommended" by all developers- except the German group of course. Itworks fine with Jonathan's software, with Scott's software and with my own.If you want to use ControlCenter (I fail to see the need, but hey, we're notall alike, eh?) you will have to either:- use that firmware, but switch back to a (fairly old) release of CC, or,- use the newer "X" firmware (XDVRPTR) from Kurt, and use the current CCbecause Kurt stopped supporting the "standard V1" (wot? there IS only oneV1, no?) a while ago.Based on reports here and on the other groups, I'd stick with this firmware, grab an old release of CC and play with that for a while, and then switch toone of the other packages mentioned above.Hoppa,Fred

Subject: [DVRPTR_V1] Which FW with which driver ?
I have received the dvrptr-board from Bruce and the controlcenter can't see the the board,i use the external powersupply so the LED flashes one time when switch on the powersupply.
I have installed the driver here from Yahoogroups but i think that the driver don't fit with the old firmware (1.10 ?)
The board is on com 10 and my qeustion is which controlcenter on the files section fits with which firmware ?
I saw dvrptr_28_04_2012.zip and is this the right version for firmware DV-RPTR-Firmware_V169b.fw for just a hotspot function ? Both are in the files section.
Is the driver (DVRPTR_CDC.inf in the filesection )OK for the combination that i just mentioned ?
I want to use the board as a hotspot with my own call.
