      In today's world it's common to find public kiosk terminals stationed in high foot traffic areas dispensing information where groups of people gather. Of course that wasn't the norm fifty years ago.
       
      But did you know that the DSR had its own version of a modern day kiosk way back in 1955? It was a streetcar and coach stop locator sign located right in the middle of downtown Detroit.
       
      A new web-page has recently been added to the "DetroitTransitHistory.info" web-site which takes a look back at what the Detroit Times newspaper back then referred to as the DSR's "Service Robot Information Machine."
