Precisely for this very reason I think that this idea does not work and that is a bad idea.Consider a little if DC Comics has tried other times to create versions of "Medieval Fantasy" of their characters and none of them had enough success to inspire the idea of creating a whole magical medieval fantasy world with superheroes : Paladins, Clerics, Knights , Warriors, Barbarians , Druids, Rangers, Shamans , Mages, Sorcerers, Monks, Rogues, Bards filled with proud and majestic Elves, Grumpy Dwarves, Crafty Halflings / Hobbits , wild Orcs and Half-Orcs, harmonious Centaurs with nature , geniuses masters inventors of gadgets Gnomes, Goblins crooks , scoundrel ,cheaters, Minotaurs strongest,happy and festive Fauns, Satyrs, gallants of beautiful maidens, robust and powerful Half-Giants etc.If none of the examples you cited encouraged the DC Comics Board to create a Earth Medieval Magical or medieval fantasy superheroes it is simply because that idea does not work.Sad but true.
