      suggests banking that has been artificially built up to prevent flooding or
      direct water or support a road. I find Google images really useful for
      things like this

      Don't dare comment for naplavka but alongside the Vltava in Prague it would
      depend I suppose which bit.... if it is a section for mooring boats it
      would be a quay but you could really get away with both.

        Maybe someone will come up with the technical term, but in layman s terms I would say you are pretty safe with nábøeµí - embankment and náplavka - quay
