      hi

does someone have an idea on how to best translate the phrase in quotes in the following sentence?

Řesení spočívá v aplikaci metody "kazdý na svém dvoře" tj. oddělení dopravy vyvolané potřebou dopravní obsluhy obytných lokalit od dopravy vyvolané nebytovými funkcemi a zároveň zamezení průjezdu přes řesené území pro tranzitní dopravu.

I looked up the phrase on google and nothing came up, so my feeling is this "method" is not so popular in CR or in the Czech language :-) Perhaps there is no such actual method and the author just got a little creative. The meaning escapes me though.

Anyone feeling inspired to enlighten me? I guess I can always provide a word-by-word translation.

      diky,
      Pavla
