        With all the judgmental weaknesses of a non-native speaker, I think
        "smluvni pracovnik" is the best of all the suggestions you were
        given. It appears to be equivalent to the term "contract worker",
        which is used for such people in the United States.

        We frequently also call such people "freelance workers", "freelance
        consultants" or even just "consultants", although anything with
        "consultant" in it tends to imply a very high level of professional
        expertise. However, even people with no experience and very little
        expertise are called consultants at some companies.

          Tak mne se smluvni pracovnik nelibi, konec koncu kazdy zamestnanec pracuje na zaklade pracovni smlouvy a emocne to u mne vzbuzuje pocit, ze je placen

            pracuje na zaklade pracovni smlouvy a emocne to u mne vzbuzuje pocit,
            ze je placen smluvnim platem (tedy lepe nez stabilni zamestnanec).
            Puvodne navrzena "osoba pracujíci na zaklade dohody" neni sice
            stylisticky nic moc, ale v nasem systemu asi nejlepe odpovida
            skutecnosti a pro personalisty bude nejlepsi.
