      Hi all,
      does anyone know an English equivalent of pracovni stroj? I've found working machinery but somehow it sounds unpleasantly Czenglish to me. Pracovni stroj is defined as follows:

      Pracovn�m strojem je vozidlo ur�en� t�� k provozu na pozemn�ch komunikac�ch, kter� je svou konstrukc� a vybaven�m ur�eno pouze pro vykon�v�n� ur�it�ch pracovn�ch �innost� a kter�

      - m� vlastn� zdroj pohonu (samoj�zdn� pracovn� stroj) nebo

      - nem� vlastn� zdroj pohonu a p�ipojuje se k motorov�mu vozidlu, kter� je pro tento ��el p�izp�sobeno (p��pojn� pracovn� stroj)

      You carky and hacky got garbled, but I think there are a bunch of terms that could be used, depending on what type of pracovni stroj you re talking about:

        talking about:

        utility vehicle

        commercial vehicle

        construction vehicle

        Personally, if I understand it right without the hacky and carky, I'd
        go with "utility vehicle". I agree that "working machinery" is not a
        good choice.

        Also, look at these websites:

        http://www.toro.com/grounds/vehicle/

        There are other applicable sites as well. These seem to show "light
        utility vehicles", but there are heavier ones too.
