TERM: underwriters laboratory
- Any idea how to translate the term in this short context?:
Canadian Standards and Underwriters Laboratory.
It is supposed to a laboratory performing testing of dangerous
products (maybe for insurance industry?)

equipment, especially electrical stuff. On a lot of electronics, fire
extinguishers, etc., sold in the US, you'll see their trademark symbol
"UL" inside a small circle. Don't translate the name, and it should be
