            Hello Michael,

I may be off target here, but I think the "abstract" part may
indicate that this guaranty is not tied to the particular business
deal (renting the space) but rather just to the person receiving the
guranty. I know there is "abstraktni zavazek" and "abstraktni
smlouva" in Czech business law where there is no reference to the
actual underlying business deal. The opposite is "kauzální závazek".
I googled on "abstract obligation" and was getting some results (even
some Austrian websites...). Perhaps this could be something to
            explore further?

As I pointed out in message 19392.

Are my messages not getting through? Most of them recently have gone by
unacknowledged, at least until further prompting on my part. I'm getting
a bit fed up with it, to be honest.
