50533Re: [Czechlist] adjoining, adjacent, neighbouring
- Jan 7, 2013Yes, they are adjoining. The differences between these terms is not always and everywhere exactly the same, and is something more like Morris Weitz's concept of "strands of similarity" for determining what's art. There's a whole string of things that they can or may not be similar in regard to, and it's not a bundle of constant similarities that make the terms synonymous or not, but any number of them from somewhere along the strand.
