First Nations is a term of ethnicity that refers to the aboriginal peoples in Canada who are neither Inuit nor Métis.
Collectively, First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples constitute aboriginal peoples in Canada, indigenous peoples of the Americas or first peoples.
