      The problem is that certain Canadian provinces have been designated as provinces run by the First Nations who inhabit them. This means that First Nations does not mean only their oficialni zastupce.

      "First Nations" is just a way of saying "Indians and Eskimos" that is less awkward and politically loaded than the US term "Native American".
