interesting. not sure if it was fiction or what. but it was
apparently the 2nd by an author.. "the bible code" was the first...
something about a hidden code in the bible that predicts the future.
i was in a bit of a rush, so didnt get to read too much about it, but
      it looked VERY interesting.

      anyone read it?

It's supposed to be real, an extreme form of bibliomancy combined with numerology that proposes that there is a secret code concealed in the the bible (ignoring the fact that it's gone through multiple levels of translation and different transcriptions) that is supposed to predict major events in history.  It's proponents completely ignore the fact that they have yet to "predict" an event before it happens, but rather go back and work their "magic" to point out where the event was indeed predicted, after the fact.

Basically they take the Bible apart into its component letters, words, and phrase, and recombine it into their "predictions".

It's no doubt the follow-up to the best-selling original, which has been thoroughly debunked as being anything more than a mathematical formula which when applied to such a large amount of text, is bound to pull out some interesting strings.  It can generate a lot of amusing strings with no prophetic value, as well.
