For Sale by:
You are bidding on a 1950 Crosley Serial No. VC 10588 Hotshot roadster with top. Has a 4 cylinder engine, 3-speed manual transmission and drum brakes. The builder, Powel Crosely Jr, was one the early pioneers of radio, and started building cars as a hobby. The Hotshot was the sports car of Crosleys line, and has the distinction of being America's first production made sports car. This example is red with beige wheels and black headlights. Beige seats with red piping, black carpet and black top with red trim. Family owned since 2001, underwent complete frame-off, photo-documented, restoration of very solid car in 2002. Driven to car shows and cruise-ins since. I have owned many corvettes and street rods, and none have gotten the attention that this car does. A fun car to show and cruise in. New tires, all chrome is re-chromed and excellent condition, add-on turn signals, car cover and tonneau cover.
