      Reminder from: Crosley Yahoo! Group

Title: 1952: Crosley Motors merges with Aerojet Engineering Corp.

      Date: Tuesday February 26, 2013
Time: 12:00 am - 12:00 am (GMT) Greenwich Mean Time - Dublin / Edinburgh / Lisbon / London
Location: Cincinnati, Ohio, CROSLEY CAR OWNERS CLUB (CCOC) - 4526 29th Avenue, Kenosha, Wisconsin 53140-3044, (262) 652-3034
Notes: Directors of Crosley Motors vote to merge with rocket component manufacturer Aerojet Engineering of Azusa, California, the largest maker of rocket components and propellants; the new company will be called Aerojet General Corporation. General Tire and Rubber Company owns a controlling interest in both companies. The former Crosley plants in Cincinnati will now make metal parts for jet-assisted takeoff (JATO) rockets, and it will cost $300,000 to $400,000 to retrofit the plants.
