The new and long-awaited Crosley Supper Club announced its grand opening for this Wednesday, January 23, 2013 within Seagate, the Powel Crosley estate on the bayfront of Sarasota and Bradenton. The Crosley Supper Club was designed to create the speakeasy look of the 1920s. In a statement, Roberta Montelione, Executive Chef of Milan Catering, said "We are excited to now offer fine dining restaurant at the Crosley Mansion. This is the only Sarasota restaurant that offers this ambiance with bayfront dining and delicious food". Seagate was built in 1929. Powel Crosley's Mediterranean Revival mansion is now a venue for weddings, rehearsal dinners, galas and corporate events. A Crosley is featured on-premise.
