There's a gorgeous CB-42 Victory Convertible Sedan up for Mecum auction on October 25 in St. Charles IL, just west of Chicago. This Crosley stayed at Crosley Motors, Inc. until March 14, 1946 and may have been used for experimental purposes to increase performance of the Cub 150 twin, as it has twin Tillotson carburetors. There's reportedly supporting documentation to collaborate those claims. It's a "blackout" version; no chrome was used because of WWII wartime shortages and rationing. 1029 CB-42s were produced in all. Check our CCOC New Photos, and spread the word to responsible potential buyers.
