      There'll be celebrities, politicians and, of course, veterans all along the parade route. The committee says it'd appreciate our open cars - Hotshots, sport convertibles and most any '39-'42 Crosleys - to carry honored guests. And with Crosley's major involvement in fighting and winning World War II, the appropriateness here is obvious.

      The parade organizer is Fran McVey, who has specifically asked for "interesting vehicles" for this event. It begins at 11:00 PT with the parade at high noon.
