In North Bennington, Vt., "Terry's Barn", the unfinished 9,000-square-foot four-story combination home and multicar garage, now for sale, was owned by Terry Ehrich, the longtime editor and publisher of Hemmings Motor News who at 60 years died of lung cancer in 2002.

Ehrich bought Hemmings Motor News in 1968. Perez Ehrich, his brother, said the famous panel trucks were on the magazine's cover not because he particularly liked them but because they stood up tall and would get seen above the crowds at car shows.

Hemmings once maintained a collection of 120 cars, many sold when the magazine was sold in 2002, but Ehrich also had his own fleet including a 1950 Crosley Farm-O-Road, one of his favorites, as was a 1954 Singer convertible and a 1938 Bantam.
