Check out the new scuplture "Powel Crosley, Jr.", mixed-media made of parts from a variety of Crosley products from the 1920's thru the early 1950's.
The creator is Paik, Nam June, born 1932 in Korea.
The 8-foot-tall robot, commissioned by the Cincinnati Art Museum, pays tribute to Powel Crosley, Jr. and is built entirely of Crosley products including TV cabinets, a steering wheel, hubcaps, a refrigerator door and radio tubes, and plays clips from "Powel Crosley and the 20th Century" along with images from today's popular culture, reflecting the rapid pace of 20th century society.
