      The Richmond (VA) Times-Dispatch:

David Maloney, acting director of the Mechanicsville planning commission, announced that the commission approved a special exception permit this week allowing Atlee Auto Salvage to return the Crosley CD station wagon to the top of the pole on U.S. 301 as part of its sign. The car had become a landmark during its 50 years at the Atlee Auto Salvage yard, and supporters petitioned to keep it there when the property changed hands and uses.

(The planning commission in making its decision, along with ongoing updates in the Times-Dispatch quoted information from the Crosley Car Owners Club, which both were gracious in crediting.)
