Subject: =CROSLEY= Rescue alert: Two Crosley-Overlands in New York.
eBay #150431072427 is a pair of Crosley-Overlands fire trucks in Queensbury, New York. One is a 1950 Crosley with a substitute engine and drivetrain from a Datsun and originally built by Overland Amusements, Lexington, Mass., possibly used at Idora Park in Youngstown, OH. The truck needs a total restoration. The sellers say they were told that it ran when they bought it, but they hadn't had it running. 4 speed. Needs a clutch and brake work. Driver side glass missing. Passenger and rear windows have cracks. Front window is good. Has Crosley hub caps. Needs a rear tire. See pictures for further description.
The second truck is a late 1940's Crosley-Overlands fire truck. Surface rust over complete body. Rust throw in back walkway. No floor boards or seat in cab. Needs a total restoration or good for parts. See the pictures.
Also included is an extra Crosley engine and parts as seen in the back of the second truck.
No titles to either of these trucks, but a bill of sale will be provided.
You are bidding on both trucks for one price. You must take both at time of pickup.
Inspections are available before bidding. Please contact for an appointment. Vehicles are being sold "as is, where is" and must be removed by the buyer within 30 days of auction close. Full payment is due at time of pickup. Payment by cashier's bank check is required. Located in Upstate New York, 45 miles north of Albany off of Exit 18 of the Adirondack Northway (Interstate 87).
