The San Antonio Light, August 19, 1939:

      SCOTT SALES REPORTS GAINS

Although It has been in business less than three months, the Scott

Sales Corporation, 618 Broadway, reports steadily increasing sales.

The firm features a group of nationally known and advertised products.  The new Crosley automobile, now available for delivery, and a full line of Crosley appliances are among the products stocked. The firm is also distributor and retailer

for the Kirby vacuum sweeper; exclusive distributor for Murray floor furnaces and stocks room coolers and refrigeration air-conditioning.

The new Crosley car, introduced at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on April 28, 1939 and to the public at the New York World's Fair two days later, is available to San Antonians through the Scott Sales Corporation.

Designed to average up to 60 miles to a gallon of fuel, cruise

comfortably at 45 to 50 miles an hour and accomodate in comfort four passengers, the Crosley car has been introduced after 23 years of research by Crosley, electric refrigerator

manufacturer. The new car comes in two models, a two-passenger convertible coupe and in the four-passenger convertible sedan with additional equipment. This new car cannot be compared with any other automobile now manufactured

because it has been especially designed to fill the growing

need for a simple, practical unit which can be sold at a low cost and operated economically.

A complete display of the new Crosley cars, as well as other Crosley appliances can be seen at the Scott Sales Corporation's salesrooms.

Officers of the Scott Sales Corporation are: Elaine Scott, president; B. Bell, vice-president; Donald Nurick, secretary-treasurer, and Mr. O'Neal, sales manager.
