I hope this isn't true, but there is an article I have recieved that is
just bugging me. My friend gave it to me a little while ago and it is
from the Denver Post. I have the article in front of me, but looked on
the web for a site to post. I did a search ALL OVER the site for the
Denver post and this article was no where to be found, so I don't know
if it may be from another paper in Colorado and he couldn't remember.
If you care to search, here is a tip. On the other side of the paper
from where the article is located, there is a small article by Nathan
Dutzmann called "Strickland Damaging." Here's what the article says.

      REWRITING LAW ON THE FLY

(My friend believed this was the June 24, issue, but was unsure.)

Article: The Bush administration is making a breath-taking assertion of
its right to imprisson an American citizen indefinatly, without access
to a court or a lawyer, simply by designating the citizen an "enemy
      combatant."
And who, precisely, is an enemy combatant? Anybody President Bush
-- or his military commanders -- says. And, the administration asserts
further, the courts have no jurisdiction to rule on whether the
individual is or is not and enemy combatant.
The Justice Department made this argument to the 4th U.S. Circuit
Court of Appeals in the case of Yaser Hamdi, 21, who was captured in
Afghanistan, sent to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and, when it turned out he
may be an American, shipped to a Navy brig in Norfolk, VA., where he has
      been held incommunicado ever since.
On the presumption he is an American and entitled, as is every
American, to basic constitutional rights, a U.S. magistrate appointed a
lawyer for Hamdi. The Justice Department refused to let thelawyer meet
with Hamdi. A federal district judge twice ordered that the public
defender be given free and private access to Hamdi. The department is
appealing that order and seeking to prevent Hamdi from appearing before
      a judge under habeas corpus.
The case has implications for Jose Padilla, of whom the Justice
Department accuses of plotting to set off a "dirty bomb." Padilla, a
native-born American arrested in Chicago, is also being held
incommunicado without a lawyer or the right to see a judge.
Bush's hasty executive order of last Navember didn't anticipate the
problem of American citizens being swept up in the terrorist dragnet,
and now the administration is giving the chilling appearance of making
up law as it goes along. The Bush administration wouldn't be the first
government to use an emergency as a pretext for usurping basic legal
      protections.
The administration insists the courts have no competence, no
expertise and no business questioning its judgement in imprisoning
people incommunicado. The circuit court and, if necissary, the Supreme
Court should make perfectly clear the administration is wrong.

      END OF ARTICLE

Now I hope this is untrue, but so far I see that it probably is true. I
remember hearing that one constitutional right of our military was to
rise up and bring down any government that became a tyrant over America,
and set up a new one under the origional basis of the constitution. I
think this is accurate. Problem is, if you did that now, all of whoever
tried would be labeled terrorists and the "patriots" of the communist
government would fight with the government to stop you and throw you in
jail, or worse. Basicly violence would not do the trick, just so nobody
tries anything stupid. We need to pray! And we need to pray hard!
Only under God can people unite and take the country back! We need
prayer and knowledge to beat the tides! If you thought this country was
run by freedom loving people, I'm sad to say it doesn't look so. Some
of them may be, but the one's in the most power are certainly not.

This is truely sad, because I voted for Bush, and I voted republican and
libertarian to hope that a difference would be made from Clinton's reign
of socialism. However, I see now that the agendas are ultimately the
same for both democrats and republicans who make it to the big offices.
I have never seen a libertarian make it in office, and I now know why.
They are either rigged up to NOT make it, or they are labeled as
radicals, crazy, and may even eventually be called terrorists, just so
the public wont vote for them. And even if you did vote for them, they
probably wouldn't get it because the media can make it look like your
whole state voted for someone else.

This is a perilous time, so rise up in prayer and learning! Learn
EVERYTHING you can about the constitution, Bill of Rights, and the
federal government (which is not supposed to run the country [the people
are], education systems, health care, or any of that in the first
place). They got rid of most all militias and set up National guard.
Along with this they took away our rights to bare any arms we wish,
therefor eliminating our ability to defend ourselves from the heavily
armed, and in many cases brainwashed military. They then labeled anyone
that has any decent protection a terrorist.

The took over the educational systems, filling it with false sciences of
evolution, and began conditioning for acceptance of sins and false
religions. Harry Potter is now required reading in some classes, and
witchcraft along side Christianity is the fastest growing religion among
children, on up to adults. The spirits of humanism is running rampant,
and people can't figure out why our world is getting worse and worse!

There is far more about this that I can't get into right now, but
LEARN. Study and PRAY HARD! We can not stop this with violence, but
prayer is the key. God can do anything! He leveled sodom and gamorah,
he sent on man named Moses to bring the Hebrew people out of the mighty
nation of Egypt (an ancient culture and people that was for the most
part wiped out as many other God hating nations in the past). God
enabled the Israelites to eventually destroy the giant Nephilim that
inhabited their lands! God raised up America to bring the gospel to all
nations of the Earth! There is no reason this country can not turn
around and avoid the upcoming Anti-Christ's deception and rule!

Pray, learn, and spread this message! Learn all you can about the truth
in every area of our country and what has happened in the past to make
it as close to socialism as it is now! This country can be turned
      back! God bless!

      In Christ,
      JD

It is a common urge to seek-out any available community when there is a
need to poll or prompt people into action, but please remember that this
is a topical discussion list. No topics other than Creation/Evoution and

The most common OFF-TOPIC posts are probably:
