        .....

I would like to share an email sent to me by the FMP (Foreign Medical
        Program)......

"Under the Foreign Medical Program we cover service-connected
conditions or conditions related to service-connected conditions. You
have to find your own provider for treatment and then either the
provider or the veteran submits the claim to us for reimbursement.

.... The veterans in Costa Rica can go to any provider they want. As
long as they are being treated for service-connected conditions
.....there should not be a problem with the treatment being covered.

If you have any other questions, please contact us.

        Sincerely,........"

I understand that Bibilica is a fine facility, but it is certainly not
your only option, in fact, you can choose your own provider. I would
also like to point out that in fact, NO ONE who has service connected
disabilities has been denied coverage. This is a VERY misleading
statement Howard, and though I respect your loyalties to Biblica,
telling disabled veterans that they are out of options except for
        Biblica is just wrong.

I imagine the event at Biblica will go well, and would like to see a
HONEST effort on your part Howard, to help disabled veterans know
their options, all of them, and I would like to see you stop trying to
pigeon-hole them into a facility that, although it may be a fine
facility, is hard to get to, especially for those in wheelchairs, and
may not have the physician of choice for those with special needs.

        Respectfully,

        Amy
