- Hi All,
For some time I have thought of how high things are here. I can no longer complain so much. A friend, who travels for his company, emailed and said while in Hong Kong he and his wife wanted some American food...a hamburger...at a place named "Route 66 Diner" they paid $15 each. According to my friend, well worth it at the time.
Ten days before, they found an "Outback" in Kuala Lumpur...he didn't quote a price, but he was disappointed with the beef. He guessed that it was Real Australian beef.
Now when I eat at the local "American Style" Carla's Cafe for under 2,000 colonies, I will pay with a smile on my face. Some time less.
