Group Description

"Many people convert to Judaism through a humane, constructive and uplifting process which provides them with a valuable education they can enjoy even after conversion. Many others have become the victims of unethical Jewish conversion practises and need to find a way out."

This group is dedicated to the thousands of people, particularly in Europe, South America and the Middle East who have not been afforded the humane, ethical and honest treatment associated with many conversions to Judaism. Particular emphasis is placed on Finland and the Nordic countries where this problem is particularly acute. However, the message is the same wherever you may live or have attempted to convert to Judaism: however painful and full of shame and degradation the process may have been, however afraid you may be to talk to anyone about what happened, there is a way out and there are people who will listen to your story! You are not alone!

This is the first group of its kind on the internet. It is also the first time this issue has been addressed out in the open, away from the very closed and authoritarian environment of many Jewish communities in Europe and other parts of the world. Our purpose is not to politic with Jewish organisations or defend these practises or debate about laws and regulations. This group is for the victims, those who are suffering and who are usually left with no-one to help them or even hear them.

Even those who work with counseling whether Jewish, non-Jewish or secular are more than welcome to join this group, share and learn to help.

WELCOME!!!
