another ctmlog question

    when I do a ctmlog list * it shows the whole log no problem. But if I just do it for a valid 24 hour period it times out.. suggestions, comments, etc.

      when I do a ctmlog list "*" it shows the whole log no problem.  But if I just do it for a valid 24 hour period it times out.. suggestions, comments, etc.

      I suspect that your database is unable to handle that amount of logs. I had the same problem with statistics and logs, and had to work to reduce the amount, or

        I had the same problem with statistics and logs, and had to work to
        reduce the amount, or work with smaller periods.
        Try 12 hours, then 6, etc, until you get a result. Then increase by one
        hour, and continue until you have the same problem again.

        It's worth a try.

          Are there any error messages in the /data/error_log file when you run the ctmlog command ? I suspect there s not enough space in tempdb; if so it

            run the ctmlog command ? I suspect there's not enough space in tempdb; if
            so it should indicate this in the error_log file. If my suspicions are
            correct, extend the database so that the total tempdb size is equivalent to
            1/3 of the data portion of the database.
