Palestinian Authority leader, Mahmoud Abbas, has been quietly giving away the Palestinian Authority to other Arab Powers, including Egypt in the Gaza area and Saudi Arabia in Judea and Samaria (West Bank).

This move has been discussed in Arab media but there has been no talk about it Israeli media or the West with everyone focus on the North and Lebanon.

Abbas and Hamas have More or less agreed to the following:

      1. that if there is no Palestinian Authority then Israel is responsible for welfare and social services
      2. that Egypt be given suzerainty over Gaza
      3. that Saudi Arabia be given suzerainty over the West Bank.

This deal is not official and there appears to be some debate about whether to follow through but nobody, including Olmert, is paying much attention at all to these developments.

The world forgets that the start of all these hostilities was in mid June when 3 Israeli soldiers were killed and one was captured by PA gunmen who crossed the pre-1967 border without provocation.

      This story is developing.
