Group Description

The offspring of Conrado and Isabel Ariola (CIA) is a unique combination of an Ilonggo who came from Negros but grew up in Pampanga and a PampaqueƱa whom after their marriage decided to settle in a land so strange to them. Yet, this is where they decided to settle down and brought 9 children. Nenita, Francisca, Victorino, Corazon, Conrado Jr., Amado, Salvacion, Susan and Antonio.

They were one of the pioneers in dress making in the strange land known to be the isle where Ferdinand Magellan landed in 1521 and celebrated the first mass in Philippines.

The couple through the help of their relative (Manuel) prospered in the industry they chose. They were the ones who brought the latest dress fashion in Manila to the loggers of Agusan tailored to suit the customer.

Inspired by their prosperity, they felt to share their blessings among their relatives who too was in dire need. Conrado brought along to this land his mother (Susana), only Brother (Salvador), only Sister (Lourdes) and cousins. The same with Isabel who invited her brothers (Jose, Pablo, and Ben) and sister (Masing) to follow them in this new foundland.

Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao. When the Philippine economy started to slow down in the 70s and 80s. The desire to move to the City of the Big Apple was felt by the siblings. Now most of them had decided to stay in the USA. Some decided to stay and find opportunities in Manila and Cebu.

This is their legend.

This group used to be called CIAworld but due to possible misinterpretation of abbreviations which might lead to unnecessary investigation the group has opted to change it to "ConIsArworld"
