      2013 Feb 09.51 UT; m1=5.8; Dia= 15’; DC= 4; 7x50B [Chris Wyatt, Walcha, NSW, Australia]
Coma elongated to SSE, extended 15’ in direction of tail, thin transparent outer coma with broad and bright central condensation, almost stellar. Glimpses of tail to a length of 45’ away from head visible using averted vision to SSE.
Comparison stars checked using Tycho-2 data in Guide 9.0; Method= M; Cat= TK

Notes: Too close to bright star to get naked eye observation.

Bright stellar central condensation, tail 35’ in length and 15’ width at extremity.
Comparison stars checked using Tycho-2 data in Guide 9.0; Method= M; Cat= TK

      2013 Feb 09.74 UT; m1=5.3; Dia= stellar; DC= 8/9; 0.0E [Chris Wyatt, Walcha, NSW, Australia]
Averted vision, coma appears stellar in periods of good seeing, tail not visible. Limiting magnitude = 6.0 +; twilight affected, 1230m alt.
