Group Description
This group is for the discussion of all things Combat. It covers everything from The 60’s ABC TV Series Combat,Combat Movies, real life Stories of Combat, Combat from the Roman Empire to Combat in Afghanistan. Where to buy Combat gear, clothing, AR-15s and even Combat Safety Ideas.
Combat Veterans are welcome to come here and voice their concerns about their country's policies or lack of. Non-veterans are just as welcome to come and criticize or give your support for our foreign involvement. The group is not-moderated so you are free to speak your mind. Nobody is going to censor your post. You're also responsible for your speech. Combat can bring out the passion in people.
For many Veterans, their memories of war are repressed and locked in their subconscious mind like a family's dirty secret. If it's guilt, or shame or anything you want to get off of your mind. Feel free to grab a cold one, belly up to the bar (or keyboard) and share your demons.
There's only one rule. Play Nice or you're gone. If you follow this rule; you should be able to discuss Politics and religion (Both major causes of Combat situations) without offending anyone. God hates the Sin, but Loves the Sinner. Keep that in mind when posting something potentially offensive. Make sure it’s aimed at the Idea, and not the member. I’m not asking for political correctness; just make sure that what you say is not directed at a member.
Although there is only one rule; It can be defined in 3 words: "Don't Be Rude"
