Whistleblower Rights and the Public's Right to Know

"Emerging from eight years of unprecedented assertions of executive
power and government secrecy, and a judicial rollback of citizens'
free speech rights, Congress has a real opportunity to enact historic
      openness reforms" [ClimateScienceWatch.org].*

Whistleblowers on government inaction dealing with climate change and
global warming were no better at NOAA National Weather Service (NWS)
during the Clinton/Gore administration than under the Bush/Cheney
administration. Will they be any better under the next administration?
Not unless there is a revamp of senior management staff at NWS.

U.S. administrations, democratic and republican, have failed the
people and the world environment by not allowing the truth about
      climate change to be learned.

On June 23rd, the Government Accountability Project and American
University Washington College of Law are hosting a national conference
with focus on federal whistleblower rights and pending legislation.
