Retiring NOAA NWS directors must be held accountable on climate change

National Weather Service directors, having recently announced their retirements, must be held accountable for failing the public on climate change which they knew was happening in the Upper Midwest.

The directors and NWS supervisors knew climate change was happening in the Upper Midwest from a report on earlier snowmelt runoff on the Minnesotans for Sustainability website.

Daniel Luna, Hydrologist in Charge of the NWS North Central River Forecast Center (NCRFC) located in Chanhassen, Minnesota prevented my research and communication on climate change and hydrology.

Dean Braatz, preceding Hydrologist in Charge of the NCRFC prevented my research and communication on climate change and hydrology prior to his retirement in 2001.

These government directors and supervisors failed the public on climate change. They knew climate change and global warming was happening but stopped research and tried to put gags on their NWS subordinates to not talk about climate change. .
