Text only - to view low temperature figures at climate stations and the latest Feb 28, 2007 12Z (CST) snow depth plot go to the link  http://npat1.newsvine.com/ and click the title: Upward trends in low temperatures.

New - A plot showing snow depth on Feb 28, 2007 at 12Z (6:00 AM CST) in part of the Upper Midwest has just been added.

Upward trends in minimum low temperatures by year are shown for climate stations in North Dakota, Montana, South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa and Wisconsin. The temperature maps shows the lowest reading for each year at each climate station for the period of record.

The yearly (annual) minimum low temperatures occurred in January, February, March or December for a given calendar year.

The area includes the Upper Midwest and Northern Great Plains regions.
