Station temperature data at Minneapolis, 1820-2004 (185 yrs), is shown
      on the homepage at:

      http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ClimateArchiveTwo/

The early station location for Minneapolis temperature record was at
Ft. Snelling (1820-1890), the 1891-1938 record was downtown and the
1939-current was/is in a grassy area near the Twin Cities airport.

Data for many other states thru 2002 are also at ClimateArchiveTwo.

Graphs and articles that I authored include:

      (2)
      http://www.mnforsustain.org/climate_snowmelt_dewpoints_minnesota_neuman.htm

      (1) Shows that 5-yr avg temps at 26 rural-NWS Coop stations(1998-2002)
in the Midwest were equal or higher than previous high 5-yr avgs of
record set back in the 1930s and 1940s.

      (2) Shows earlier snowmelt runoff for rivers in Wisconsin, Minnesota,
and eastern North Dakota. Winter dewpoints are plotted for Eau Claire
WI, Duluth MN and Fargo ND.
