Just following orders on global warming

Government managers and workers charged with responsibility to educate
and alert the public to weather & climate catastrophes are not acting
to meet their responsibilities in regards to global warming.

The failure is being driven by a lack of understanding or caring.
Global warming knowledge involves more than meteorology. Oceans and
earth sciences, paleontology and biology, and other disciplines, are
required in developing an understanding of climate change and global
      warming.

Managers and workers in federal agencies have a public duty to train
and coordinate with local governments and media, state governments and
students. Managers and workers are avoiding discussion of global
warming, in following orders from their supervisors up the chain of
command to the President. The rationale being used to avoid discussion
of global warming with local governments and media include global
warming being too complex, too controversial, too political, and not
their job to deal with. Many deny that global warming is a problem at
all, claiming that if it is possible, it would be well beyond the time
frame of their agency's mission. In effect, managers and workers in
federal agencies are supporting a position that will make life on this
planet unbearable for billions of people and other life, probably much
      sooner than people realize today.

A graph that I created showing global temperatures based on 10 year
moving averages (with data on annual globally averaged land air
temperatures that I downloaded from NOAA National Climate Data Center)
      is at:

Rapid global warming is happening now. The strong rising trend in
global temperatures and humidity will increasingly disrupt plants,
animals and people, with no end in sight. Global climate is being
overwhelmed by greenhouse gas emissions from human activity.
