Powerful evidence of climate and hydrologic change:
Upper Midwest and Northern Great Plains

Analysis of 50 to 100 years of air temperature, dewpoint and river flow
data has been completed. A website with links to two articles on this
is at: http://www.mnforsustain (listed under Climate Change).

Daily river flows were used to show timing of seasonal snowmelt runoff at
three (3) river stations located in the Upper Midwest and Northern Great
      Plains.

River stations used in the study
      Red River at Fargo, ND
St. Louis R. near Duluth, MN
St. Croix R at St. Croix Falls, WI

The data and articles show powerful evidence that climate and hydrologic
change has already been occurring in the Upper Midwest and Northern Great
      Plains of North America.

Please review these articles on the Minnesotans for Sustainability
website and post your comments on the data and analysis. Please let me
know if you have any questions on getting to the articles or interpreting
      the methodology.
