Group Description

This discussion group at Yahoo (formerly Krystal Planet) is a network for people interested in clean energy, cleantech, the environment, and personal wellness.

We are part of the Clean Power Revolution, a movement that represents a major shift from fossil fuels to clean energy. Join this group to discuss and stay informed of progress and news in cleantech, renewable and alternative energy, climate change, and the environment.

This Yahoo! group was originally founded by Troy Helming, author of the book "The Clean Power Revolution", which describes how the U.S. economy could save $1 Trillion per year, and later became a part of a group of media sites managed by CleanTech.Org. I write the CleantechBlog.com, and operate the Cleantech.org
portal. We also have a 12,000 member
Linked In Group

My promise:

I live and breath this sector, so I'll keep good content coming to seed the discussion, but you all have to help.

We are going to build the biggest and best next gen energy community on Yahoo.

Zero tolerance for junk.

If you've been a great member of the group, keep it up. If you haven't been around in a while, please come back and give us a chance.

Give me feedback on what you want, it's your group, after all. Participate, participate. Let's all learn together.

Our posting policy:

Rule number one is no spam.

Only posts related to energy and environment will be allowed.

No personal attacks on other members.

No advertorials. Show off your intelligence by saying something interesting to others, not just touting what you do.

Violations and violators will be deleted. Zero tolerance policy in force. Spam won't work, so don't waste my time. You'll only waste it once.

Thanks,
Neal Dikeman
