I am interested in learning more about the background and family of
William and Maggie - who was her husband? In 1900, there was an L. C.
JARRETT residing at 2504 First Avenue in Columbus and no Maggie
STEVENS/STEPHENS listed in the city directory.

Also, are they kin to Wade H. STEPHENS, who m. 1878 in Muscogee Co. to
Mrs. Abigail (NEWSOME) HEATHCOCK (b. 1848), daughter of John &
Telitha (PIKE) NEWSOME? Their son (Abigail's brother) Philip Oscar
NEWSOME m. 1884 in Russell Co, AL, to Carrie Annie JARRETT - is she
kin to L. C. JARRETT? John & Telitha, as well as other NEWSOME family
members, are buried at Clapp's Factory. Wade and Abigail had one
known child, Mary Telitha STEPHENS, who m1. MOTE, m2. SAYERS. Any
      information appreciated - thanks. jml]
