CityBus officials have scheduled public hearings to present final
proposals for route changes and improvements. The meetings, open to
all, will be held Monday, March 22nd, at Riehle Plaza. Two meetings
      are scheduled, one at 1 p.m. and a second at 5:15 p.m.

CityBus is making the changes to bring fixed route service to new
areas, such as Amberleigh Village, Happy Hollow Rd., River Rd., and
portions of Twyckenham Blvd. CityBus will also improve frequency of
service on some routes, including a bus every 30 minutes on Klondike,
Lafayette Square, and Northwestern routes. Many of these changes are
being made in response to needs voiced by CityBus riders.

Final proposals will be presented to CityBus's board of directors for
approval on Wednesday, March 24th, at 5:15 p.m. If approved, route
changes could begin as early as July this year.

All the proposals can be viewed on CityBus's web site at
www.gocitybus.com. If you have any questions or comments about the
proposals, please contact John Metzinger, Development Manager, at
      jmetzinger@..., or 423-2666 ext. 208.
