True....so many humans seek the approval and acceptance from other humans to save their life it seems....but isn't that worshipping the beast who's number is a man....or even idolalotry? The Bible sais the wicked one blinds the masses....that tells you right there....few make it to the Kingdom compared to the greater count. We need to be validated by God and no one else. We must be careful for fear of man is a snare. And if you noticed...man...evil man...is always trying to dominate or bully others. To their own injury eventually. Unless of course it was God's will. Meditating on Gods words in your personal relationship with Jehovah is reccomended in the Bible. The wicked one wants to snatch away all you have learned so guard your heart....that's why God gave it to you. We are but Gods indentured servants. We shall try to stay humble and give thanks and praise to the Lord our God the Most High! Forever and ever Amen.On Aug 14, 2013 10:16 PM, "Panther" <bsullivan79@...> wrote:
MATTHEW CHAPTER 7: What We Really Don't Want to Know
13 Enter ye in at the narrow gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leads to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14 Because narrow is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leads unto life, and few there be that find it.
I had to learn that his words are still applicable in this matter today. Growing up you believe and try to find a way to make church organizations fit with the word of God. So you give them every break. Then you find out that the only interpretation of some of what was said is that the professing church would turn away from the truth and be turned to FABLES. Not the world; it has never had its ear to the truth.
Then you begin to ask yourself what are those fables and when you find out, you realize that if you believe those fables, it totally changes what you present as part of the Gospel message. It even changes the type of person God is. That matters because salvation is all about getting to know God. You may mean well, but it will not really make sense. That is a problem with one of the fables, the idea that man is an immortal soul. Actually what the Bible says is the EXACT OPPOSITE. Satan has "deceived the whole world." as was prophesied. However the truth is still with Yeshua's church, His churches are the ones that learn the truth out of all denominations, because the church is not an organization but rather and organism; the living body of Christ. Now and then people out of all denominations think more of the truth than their organization.
