      NEW TRADITION SINGS FOR THE GOLD . . . AGAIN

      The New Tradition Chorus will be competing for a second gold medal in
      the SPEBSQSA Chorus contest in Louisville, KY before 12,000 cheering
      fans on Saturday morning July 3rd. The New Tradition Chorus will
      only sing on Saturday but if you like a cappella music and the
      Barbershop sound here is an opportunity not to be missed.

      We invite you to listen to the convention webcast on your computer at
      http://webcast.spebsqsa.org/. According to the schedule the chorus
      will be competing between 11:30 and noon. The entire convention
      webcast schedule is listed below. We suggest you "tune in" early in
      case you need to download a free program to facilitate listening.

      Please cheer us on even if you are at home!

      (Note: Access to the webcast is free and available to the public;
      however, visitors must register in order to obtain a login ID and
      password.)

      WEBCAST SCHEDULE

      The following events will run on the webcast from Louisville. The
      New Tradition Chorus will only sing on Saturday but if you like a
      capella music and the Barbershop sound here is an opportunity not to
      be missed.


      Wednesday, June 30th

      Quartet Quarterfinals
      11:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. EDT (Quartets #1-#27)
      6:30 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. EDT (Quartets #28-#54)
      ***(The one quartet from Chicagoland, Alchemy, is scheduled to sing
      48th, during the evening session, just after Metropolis (1998
      National Harmony Sweepstakes Champs) and just before Vocal Magic. If
      Alchemy scores high enough to make the top 20, they'll sing a
      different set in the Quartet Semifinals on July 2. If they finish in
      the top 10 in that round, they'll perform another different set in
      the Quartet Finals on July 3.)***

      Thursday, July 1st
      AIC (Association of International Champions) Show (these are all past
      international champion quartets--including a salute to Chicagoland's
      own Grandma's Boys on the 25th anniversary of their winning the gold!)
      6:30 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. EDT

      Friday, July 2nd

      MBNA America Collegiate Barbershop Quartet Contest
      11:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. EDT

      Quartet Semifinals
      7:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. EDT

      Saturday, July 3rd

      Chorus Finals
      10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. EDT
      ***(Northbrook is scheduled as the 5th chorus to sing just after
      Denver Mile High and just before the Ambassadors of Harmony.)***

      Quartet Finals
      6:30 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. EDT
