      Hi there netters,

The APPLAUSE SHOW Library got a workout this week as we played songs from all of the segments of the library.  We featured a segment on the International Chorus Competitors for Montreal, and another segment for the Quartet Competitors.  And we featured the music of the "Voices In China" project from 2002 when a group of 9 americans, bothe men' and women barbershop harmony singers went to Bejing, China to introduce the barbershop style to that city.

This Thursday. T.J. will be doing a solo spot while I am out performing at a major performance with the Hunterdon Harmonizers.  And the following week, both T.J. and I will be in Montreal for the International Convention of SPEBSQSA.  Phil DeBar (California) and I have the distinct privelege of being the lead broadcasters for the Webcast activities from the Belle Centre in Montreal.  You will have the opportunity t hear the "World Harmony Jamboree", the "MBNA Collegiate Barbershop Championship", the "A.I.C. Show of Champions", the 3 "Quartet Quarter-Finals" sessions, the Quartet Semi-Finals" session, the "Chorus Contest" and the "Quartet Finals" from Wednesday, July 2 through Saturday evening July 5th.

You can access the webcast at: International Barbershop Convention Webcast
to get all the schedules and information.  If you do take advantage of this incredible broadcast, please send a donation to the Society to assist in the cost of this year's Webcast and to insure the Webcasts continue for years to come.  We need to raise $30,000.00 this year and I, personally,am suggesting that a donation of $15.00/per person/per event , or a full week's donation of $125.00 is not unreasonable.  You will be saving more than $1000.00 of convention expenses by not having to be in Montreal, and I encourage you to follow the above guidelines if you listen in or watch the Webcast.  Thanks for your support and I promise you Phil and I will do our best to make your listening/viewing experience a pleasant one.

There you have it .... another great week of music from the studios of WVRM Radio.. Please consider financial support for this broadcast.  We must continue to show the owners of this station that the Barbershop community and the Acappella Communities can and will support our music on the airwaves.  We are asking you to consider a subscritpion to the show that runs $29.85 per quarter or a yearly donation of $119.40 per year.  If we can show the owner that we have $20-24,000.00 of support (less than 250 subscriptions) we can convert to a 24/7 365 days of acappella and barbershop music.  Imagine, you could be listening to live broadcasts from all around the world...and hearing simulcast broadcasts of famous barbershop and acappella events.
