  • And in any event, you don't want the event to be at 1:59. You want it at 9:26:53 3.1415926535 = 3/14/15 9:26:53 (or :54 if you want to round up) D From: "Danny Champion danny.c.champion@^$1 [CENTRALTEXASGEOCACHERS]" < CENTRALTEXASGEOCACHERS@^$2 > Reply-To: < CENTRALTEXASGEOCACHERS@^$3 > Date: Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at 1:02 PM To: < CENTRALTEXASGEOCACHERS@^$4 > Subject: Re...

  • I have had exactly the opposite experience. I use my iPhone (4S and now 5S) for geocaching all the time. I use it more than my Orgeon 450, although the Oregon is still the go-to device in forests or other environments where the satellite view is not helpful. I use geocaching.com's app. For $10, it's really great. I have no major complaints about the iPhone or the app, other than...

  • OK, so here is a totally random thought. I have a Garmin Oregon 450, and it is *very* picky about USB cables. With several of the USB cables I have at home, the Oregon will power on and the computer recognizes it, but transferring data does not work. With other cables, everything works fine. Perhaps you might try changing cables? D On May 20, 2014, at 4:31 PM, "'Jacque Austin...

  • Well, you got letters that gave you the first 4 letters of a string of words. Then you can guess the missing letters from each word. From there I would try two things. 1) convert the letters of each word back into numbers, then add the values of the letters from each word. If you get a value greater than 10, try adding the digits of the number until you get a single digit. That is...
