This year's Wildflower coin features an obverse designed by guest artist
Barb Jernigan depicting a variety of flowers including Texas Bluebonnet
(Lupinus texensis), Plains Coreopsis (Coreopsis tinctoria), Texas
Paintbrush (Catilleja indivisa), Blanketflower (Gaillardia pulchella),
and Prarie Flax (Linum sulcatum). The reverse is designed by Chris Rake,
and features a compass rose in a broken tile motif with translucent hard

This 1.75" wide coin is available in Polished Nickel, Polished Gold, and
a limited edition Black Nickel with a special glow-in-the-dark compass
rose replacing the translucent colors. The black nickel version is only
available as part of the 3-finish combo.

All coins are trackable at Geoaching.com and feature a custom icon and
you can see photos along with the reservation/coin request form at

In addition the Mimbres 2.0 coins have arrived and preorders have
shipped. Those waiting on the Motorcycle Nomads will have their orders
ship in the next few days. If you missed out on the preorder, no problem
      - you can still get the black and bronze version at
      http://crakephoto.com/store. While I don't have any complete 8-coin sets
remaining, I still have a handful of random translucent colors so please
email me if you may be interested.

Finally, I have a small number of Texas Challenge 2009 Geocoins in the
store. The coin celebrates the German heritage of Fredericksburg, Texas
(the location of this year's challenge) and is available in polished gold
with imitation hard enamel. You can see this coin at
      http://crakephoto.com/store as well.

      Have a great day!
