I haven't downloaded this yet, but I have been told it's a good book
with lots of good info. I make no promises about how reliable it is
but I think it's worth investigating for those of you who would like
to tweak your Garmin's or Magellan's performance.

Looks like this book was put out in hard-copy by Kathie Kingsley-Hughes
of ExtremeTech in 2005 via Wiley Publishing[1]. Its a little dated, as
the only mentions of hacking the 60CS family is:

1.) Hard Reset - Hold the 'Enter' and 'Page' buttons when powering-up
        the unit
2.) Diagnostic Screen - Hold the 'Enter' button when powering-up the unit

Interesting nonetheless. Note, you can get access to the PDF without
having to enter a real e-mail address (the splash page was confusing as
to whether it would send you a download link via e-mail or not).

OT: I wonder how this is 'free' ... perhaps the author/publisher did
release rights and put it out to market gratis? *shrug*
