AbbysGrammy, from Nashville, is in Plano right now for what was supposed to be her 8th or 9th hip replacement surgery (she got a new implant last year, but it's failed!). Now, instead, she will be getting a temporary implant infused with antibiotics on Monday because she has some kind of deep-rooted low-level infection that the doctor thinks might have caused the failure of the previous implant. Then, she'll have to wait (and be off her hip) until the infection is cleared up and a new hip is built for her ... which could be up to a year!! :O  :((  :-s  Please send your good thinks and encouragement her way ... and keep up with her hip odyssey on their BLOG  ...

      Happy Trails,
      Candy
