      Yes, we gave up Mac ibook for a cheap PC notebook. We tired of long waiting for Garmin to provide the software support for Mac. We are not impressed with MacCaching. We are very happy with GSAK.

      We too are a Mac family. VMware Fusion + Windows + GSAK = win,
      especially with USB pass through to talk to your GPSr.

      I prefer Fusion to Parallels. While Fusion is newer to the game, its
      come a long way.

      I remember when I first met the Deafdillos in ~2005, who were big Mac
      users. Caching then on a Mac seemed very painful.
